What we collect
- Phone number and profile (name, photo, About) you provide
- Messages, media, and call metadata needed to deliver the service
- Videh Video: channel handle, display name, bio, logo, cover, links, uploaded videos, thumbnails, titles, tags, comments, likes, subscriptions, and watch activity
- Device information (model, OS version) for security and troubleshooting
- Optional contacts (with your permission) to find friends on Videh
- Optional location when you share it or use SOS
How we use data
- To deliver chats, calls, status, notifications, and sync with Videh Web
- To host Videh Video channels, show recommendations, and measure views and engagement
- To review reported videos and enforce community standards
- To deliver optional video ads and measure impressions (advertisers do not receive your private chats)
- To prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized account access
- To improve reliability and fix bugs — we do not sell private message content for ads
Your controls
- Last seen, profile visibility, read receipts, and group-add permissions
- Block users and silence unknown callers
- Disappearing messages and per-chat notification settings
- Export or delete your data — see data deletion
Videh Video privacy
- Public channels, uploaded videos, comments, and subscriber counts are visible to other users
- Your phone number is not shown on public video pages — your @channel handle is used instead
- Watch history and likes help rank your feed; they are separate from private chat content
- You can delete videos you uploaded and request full account deletion at any time
